secoFLEX Installation in Hankelow, Cheshire

Project Description
Umbrella Home Solutions were tasked with renovating the outside of this lovely but tired cottage in Hankelow near Crewe Cheshire.
There were lots of issues that needed addressing in this property. These included algal growth, cracking, holes in render, previous faulty repairs and bad choices of previous coatings.
The house was treated with a fungicidal wash, then power-washed with a concentrated cleaner. We then raked out and filled all cracks with an elastomeric filler before priming with Pegafix Fixating Primer.
2 coats of secoFLEX quartz texture finish were then applied. We chose to go with the light texture due to the render being in such poor condition. This texture took away the uneven appearance of the previous render.
The results were excellent. As well as the cottage walls now being waterproof, the appearance of the property has been restored to its pristine state.
